Anna is a highly experienced Senior Mediator with the
Employment Mediation Service at the Ministry of Business, Innovation, and
Employment, where she has gained extensive experience in resolving complex
employment disputes in a mediation career spanning 20 years. Anna mediates
high-stakes cases, including personal grievances, unjustified dismissals,
troubled employment relationships, collective bargaining negotiations, and
industrial action. In addition to her mediation work, Anna is involved in
assisting in general mediation practice, mediator professional development and
the recruitment and training of new mediators. The Service receives around
10,000 mediation requests annually, cementing Anna’s role in one of the
country’s most vital conflict resolution functions. Anna is an Associate Member
of the Arbitrators and Mediators Institute of New Zealand and an Accredited
Member of the Resolution Institute, underscoring her commitment to excellence
in the field.
