Sarah Blackmore

Description

Sarah is a property and construction lawyer who specialises in commercial leasing, residential subdivisions, forestry, and foreign investment in New Zealand property. She provides expert advice to clients on a wide range of matters, including acquisitions and disposals of commercial property and businesses, commercial leasing, development agreements, subdivisions and financing transactions.

Sarah has worked on a number of large-scale sale and purchase agreements and complex agreements to build and lease. She also provides strategic advice to clients with national property portfolios and regularly provides advice on key issues under the Overseas Investment Act 2005.

Sarah's recent experience includes advising a JPMorgan managed fund, on the establishment of a joint venture fund, known as Industre Property, to hold the industrial properties formerly within Stride Property Group's portfolio.

Sarah joined Russell McVeagh as a Special Counsel in 2019, prior to which she worked at another leading New Zealand law firm. She was admitted to the practise in 2004 and is a current member of the Property Council of New Zealand
