Nico joined Inland Revenue in 2014 and his substantive role is Customer Compliance Specialist (Significant Enterprises). Over the years he had involvement with audit cases that brought to light the need for price allocation tax rules. After the Purchase Price Allocation Rules had been enacted, he took on the compliance lead role for overseeing the implementation of the rules.
Prior to 2014 Nico spent 14 years as senior tax investigator in the banking industry at the South African Revenue Service.
