Kirsty Swadling, BA/LLB is a Family Law Barrister and Mediator practising from Ponsonby Chambers, Auckland. She has a general litigation background, but specialised in family law after moving from partnership to the independent bar in 2004. Her work as counsel and mediator includes relationship property and trust disputes, care of children matters, PPPR and estate disputes. She also takes assignments as lawyer for child, lawyer for subject person and for Hague Convention work, and is experienced in collaborative process dispute resolution. Kirsty was Chair of the Family Law Section from 2017-2020 and is a past convener of ADLS committees.
