Bryce has specialised in elder and succession law for over 15 years and frequently deals with complex and contentious matters. This includes wills, EPAs, estate planning, occupation right agreements, trusts, eligibility for means-tested benefits, proceedings under the PPPR Act, elder abuse, estate administration and estate litigation. For a decade he led the estates and elder law team for a regional law firm in the greater Wellington region before establishing Bryce Williams Law in 2024 to serve the legal needs of people nearing retirement, retirees and people who lack mental capacity, the elderly, those dealing with grief through the estate administration process, and resolving disputes post-death.
